Leave The Kids Alone
Inspiration can sometimes come from multiple places within my work. "Leave the Kids Alone" is obviously an homage to one of the great studio albums of my generation, but it was also inspired by a mural of a boy with a slingshot on a brick wall in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. I find murals in every city I visit to enjoy, but that one left an impression on me that for some reason will last forever. Art speaks to us on an individual level, stirring up emotions and ideas and just like the music of Pink Floyd or the murals on the sides of buildings I hope my work speaks to others as well
