About Pam

As long as I can remember I’ve been creative. Over the decades I’ve expressed myself through writing, dance, photography and other creative hobbies but during the pandemic I started to paint and a new obsession was born!

My art is where I go to play and feel free. I use mixed media techniques to portray vibrant and whimsical themes of independence, exploration and my love of nature. I am primarily a portrait artist, but my art is a reflection of my experiences and my passions and I never know where it will take me next. Did you know that I…

  • tented at the base of a lighthouse

  • met a bison on the trail twice, surprised a mama black bear with her cubs once

  • listen to all kinds of music from classical to post punk

  • love museums, architecture and history

  • make my own homemade bread

  • raised sheep, chickens and even a flock of turkeys once

  • am a Navy brat who has lived in two countries and 5 U.S. states

I still work part time as a sales representative for the eyewear industry, but I consider myself a full-time artist. As an emerging artist I have showcased my work in group exhibitions at Eastern Edge Gallery in St. John’s, Arts Around the Bay in Cupids and Antigonish Art Fair in Nova Scotia. After living most of my life in the United States I now happily reside where I was born in Newfoundland, where we have our own time zone and a unique way of life.
